To properly pass the Dolby Atmos audio to a Dolby Atmos compatible AN receiver, connect the Blu-ray player to the AVR via HDMI® and set it to audio bitstream out. To unlock the full potential of Dolby Atmos playback, either Dolby Atmos enabled speakers, which project sound upward to the ceiling, or standard ceiling-mounted speakers should be used to reproduce the height layer of sound above the listener.
